Small classes, new teaching methods
Here we have the finest environment to study "France".

To cultivate a wide and flexible knowledge in the French language, literature and culture, this department has designed a curriculum for each year. The first and second years have numerous classes, limiting the number of students to approximately fifteen, so that the students may learn the basic skills and develop their abilities in the French language. In the third and fourth years, students select their choices within the fields of language, literature and culture and receive in-depth guidance and instruction in small classes. The Association of French Language and Literature was established for the development of harmonious and liberated relationships between students and faculty, to provide a means to share and exchange ideas and work on research and studies.

Graduate School

French Language and Literature (Master's Program 2 Years)

Solid guidance and instruction, providing a high level of language ability and application.

The three main points which characterize the French language and literature graduate course are the establishment of two main trunk lines of language and literature, with an importance placed on philosophy, history and art; the consideration for the views of negotiation, acceptance and understanding of the various domains of the pluralistic and multi-layered foreign cultures; and the emphasis placed on the teaching of the language for greater fluency.
