授業のねらいと達成目標 ／Course Objectives	Students will improve their English listening and speaking skills, while developing  general and specialized vocabulary.
授業概要 ／Course description	This is an English only course. This course offers students an opportunity to build upon skills they have acquired  in Oral Communication courses I-II. Lessons consist of broadly varied activities  focusing on many contemporary themes and subjects. The course will be taught by four different instructors using the same textbook.   Each instructor will explain the procedures for his or her class during the first  session.
授業計画（授業の形式、スケジュール等） ／Class schedule	第1回： Introductions and orientation 第2回： Getting to know you. Group conversatrion activities.  第3回： Textbook Unit 1: A taste of Mexico 第4回： Textbook unit 2: Lightning 第5回： Textbook Unit 3: Penguins in trouble. 第6回： Presentation preparation 1. Selecting topics and planning.  第7回： Presentation preparation 2: Writing and practicing your presentation.  第8回： Presentations: Full class performance activity.  第9回： Textbook unit 4: Parasomnia. 第10回：Textbook unit 5:  Maasai teacher.  第11回：Textbook unit 6: Living in Venice.  第12回：You are the teacher: Preparing your activities for other students to do. 第13回：You are the teacher: Responding to other students' work.  第14回： Final test preparation. Review and study.  第15回： Final test implementation and review.
準備学習・履修上の注意 ／Notices	The students are strongly encouraged to actively participate in all class activities. Students should make an effort to look through each unit before coming to class,  and learn new vocabulary and review grammatical points. Students should expect to spend 1 hour outside of class for review and  preparation for class each week. 【授業外学修の内容】 毎回の授業の振り返りを行うこと。授業において指示した課題を行うこと。

成績評価の方法 ／Evaluation	【評価方法】  participation and performance in class(70%) 、 final test(30%) 【評価基準】 participation,performance: joining in class activites, doing a presentation and the 'you are the teacher' activity.  final test：a test based on the contents of the textbook.  【課題（試験やレポート）に対するフィードバックの方法】 Feedback will be given in class or through manabacourse or other LMS depending on the class.
