---|---|
授業のねらいと達成目標 /Course Objectives |
The aim of this course is for students to become familiar with back-translating Japanese texts into English, using appropriate language which is clearly understood by a modern audience. On this course, you will learn some techniques used in translating from Japanese to English. We look into meaning, form and discourse and how they differ in Japanese and English, using translations from Macbeth in 'Four Tragedies of Shakespeare'(2014, p.148-179). この授業はディプロマポリシー中の「異文化と自文化とを見渡す豊かな教養をもとに、多様な人々と協働し、対話する能力を身につけている。」に対応している。 |
