授業のねらいと達成目標 ／Course Objectives	This course aims to help students improve their speaking and listening skills,  and to enable them to express themselves in English with confidence and ease.  The students should have many opportunities to practice speaking English in  class with both their classmates and their teachers. The classes will be taught  in English, giving the students the opportunity to improve their listening skills  as well.
授業概要 ／Course description	Oral Communication I is an intermediate course in English speaking and  listening comprehension. The course will be taught by five different instructors  using the same textbook. Each instructor will explain the procedures for his or  her class during the first session.

準備学習・履修上の注意 ／Notices	Coming to class each week is important.  Students should expect to spend 1 hours outside of class for review and preparation for class each week. 【授業外学修の内容】 毎回の授業の振り返りを行うこと。授業において指示した課題を行うこと。
教科書・参考書等 ／Textbooks	【教科書】 Pamela Hartman, Nancy Douglas, Andrew Boon, Inspire 2   (Cengage Learning, 2014) 【参考書】 Handouts will be distributed in class as necessary.
成績評価の方法 ／Evaluation	The method of evaluation may include presentations, interviews or group tests  (70%).  Class participation is a big part of the final evaluation (30%). Each instructor will evaluate the students according to his or her own criteria.   Evaluation will be based on participation and performance in class, improvement  in speaking and listening ability and tests. Feedback will be given in class or through Manabacourse, after everyone has given her presentations, etc.
