授業のねらいと達成目標 /Course Objectives |
This course aims to help students improve their speaking and listening skills. The students should have many opportunities to practice speaking English in class with both their classmates and their teachers. The classes will be taught in English, giving the students the opportunity to improve their listening skills as well. 授業概要 /Course description |
Oral Communication II is the continuation of the intermediate course in English speaking and listening comprehension, Oral Communication I. The second semester will begin from where the first semester ended in the textbook. The course will be taught by four different instructors using the same textbook. Each instructor will explain the procedures for his or her class during the first session. |

成績評価の方法 /Evaluation |
The method of evaluation may include presentations, interviews or group tests (80%). Class participation is a big part of the final evaluation (30%). Each instructor will evaluate the students according to his/her own criteria. Evaluation will be based on participation and performance in class, improvement in speaking and listening ability and tests. Feedback will be given in class or through Manabacourse, after everyone has given her presentations, etc. |
