授業のねらいと達成目標
／Course Objectives		 1. Develop knowledge and understanding of the Asian region including Japan from historical and contemporary perspectives.
2. Improve oral and written ability to communicate ideas in English.
3. Develop media literacy, visual literacy and ability to interpret data
4. Establish foundations for being international citizens who can analyse from a broad stand point.

授業概要
／Course description		 Students will research, analyze, discuss and write about and present topics about Asia from  historical and contemporary perspectives.
Work will be conducted primarily as small group discussion.

／Notices		 The class is conducted in English and based on group work.
Students should have a positive attitude to English and groupwork.

【評価基準】
◆Clear effort including research and deep thinking and the ability to reflect are required to receive good grades on all assignments. 
◆Students must work with classmates positively in a spirit of common learning.
◆Students must come to class prepared, with homework completed and actively participate every week.

／Notes		 【フィードバックの方法】
◆Feedback will be provided in Google Classroom, and final projects will be returned with an explanatory rubric.
◆Oral feedback will also be given. 
◆Students will have the opportunity to revise most of their work to take account of feedback.
