授業のねらいと達成目標 ／Course Objectives	- Deepen existing knowledge of social structures and global interconnection - Build comparison and analysis skills  - Cooperation and communication in groupwork - Recognize, explain and analyse difference in perspectives - Connect classroom learning to society.
授業概要 ／Course description	This course is designed to introduce students to global history and the history of connections between countries and cultures through time and space. Through thematic units, students will examine the evolution of social order, democracy, human rights, trade, colonization, and migration. Emphasis is placed on understanding diverse perspectives, analysing historical sources, and making connections to contemporary global issues.

準備学習・履修上の注意 ／Notices	Students are expected to  - Come to class, and in the event of unavoidable absence, to notify the teacher prior to the lesson. - Do homework thoughtfully & thoroughly as it forms the base of class discussion. - Work positively and co-operatively with classmates. - Be curious and questioning and interested. - Do research and write it up as a report 授業外学習（予習・復習・授業内で指示した課題への取り組み）には、1週間につき4時間を要する。 【授業外学修の内容】 毎回の授業の予習と振り返りを行うこと。授業において指示した課題を行うこと。
