授業のねらいと達成目標 /Course Objectives |
Students will learn English listening and speaking skills, while engaging in the communicative exchanges which occur naturally in the discourse framework introduced with the topic contents. The purpose of the course is to develop listening and speaking skills and to help you become a more effective communicator in English. The class will also give you opportunities to develop reading and summarizing skills. The emphasis will be on understanding and sharing ideas on topics relating to Health and Technology. This class will be taught in English. |
授業概要 /Course description |
Upon completion of this course, you will have increased ability to communicate in English. You will have developed communicative life skills, like drawing conclusions and explaining ideas, that go beyond simple English language study and help you to communicate in an international setting. The course will cover a variety of topics related to health and technology to give you a diversified range of experience with English language. The material practiced in this course will reinforce the skills you are developing in other English classes. You will be able to --understand the main idea of a short fragment of spoken English about a topic. --ask questions to get more information about a topic. --participate in a short conversation in English about a topic you know well. -summarize the main points of a spoken or written passage." |
