準備学習・履修上の注意 /Notices |
The majority of class time will be spent discussing readings presented, with little (if any) time spent on lecture. In addition, each lesson is built on the contents of the previous lesson. As such, it is essential that students both (a) complete all assigned readings and preparation work on time, and (b) come to class and actively participate each week. If a student cannot come to class, she must email the teacher in advance. The schedule and description are both open to change regarding registered students’ research topics and interests. Therefore, the syllabus may change in consultation with students. In this course, students are expected to: 1. Come to each class prepared and ready to discuss. 2. Maintain academic honesty and not commit plagiarism (see pages 35, 36, and 37 of the 学生生活ガイドブック for more information). 3. Not use translation software (e.g. Google Translate) to complete assignments. 4. Use a computer and the internet to complete assignments. 5. Appreciate diversity and difference of opinion and background. 6. Respect one another and the teacher. 7. Participate actively and energetically and share opinions with the class. 8. Do their best! Please contact me by email or through Google Classroom with any questions, concerns, or confusion. You are also free to attend my office hours, or set up an online Zoom meeting with me. Generally, I do not answer messages past 8:00pm on weekdays, and I do not answer messages on weekends and holidays. Please keep this in mind. 各回の授業外学習時間(予習・復習)には 4時間程度かかると想定される。 |
